The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has created 584 new posts for effective prevention of money laundering (AML) and financing of terrorism (FT)

 

According to 24 News HD TV channel, the FIA   has set up a new directorate and will include 186 officers and 398 other staff

 

The channel reported that the Establishment Division has issued orders for new posts for the FIA   Counter Terrorism Wing (CTW)

 

The Interior Ministry had applied for a total of 751 new posts for both the departments but the Establishment Division Management Services Wing had issued orders for only 584 new posts

 

As per the approval, a total of 288 posts have been fixed for AML and CFT and another 296 for CTW from Establishment Division

 

The new posts include 5 Additional Directors, 8 Deputy Directors and 4 Deputy Directors, 42 Assistant Directors of Investigation and Legal, 56 Inspectors of Investigation, 71 Sub-Inspectors and 51 ASIs

 

347 new posts include Head Constable, Superintendent, Stenographer, Assistant and UDC. Other positions included LDC, Deputy Courier, Dispatch Rider and Sweepers

 

AML and CFT office setups will be set up across the country following the recruitment of new posts
